Foodservice Sales Consultant
A Sales Consultant is being sought to establish new accounts in an expansion route in the very challenging and highly competitive foodservice industry. The territory will include South Bend, west and north to include the southwest lakeshore up to Saint Joseph, Michigan.
A Sales Consultant is being sought to service existing and establish new accounts in an semi-established route in the very challenging and highly competitive foodservice industry. The territory is located in the Fort Wayne area.
Previous foodservice experience, including sales, restaurant management or culinary skills will be very helpful with learning the array of products that are sold to a broad spectrum of independent restaurants, convenience stores, daycare facilities, public and private schools and the like.
Without foodservice experience, the opportunity becomes much more challenging, but a candidate with the right qualifications, a passion for food, the right skill set and an energy and fortitude to come up to speed sooner than later will be considered. The ability and desire to perform cold-calling will be an emphasized and integral aspect for this position and will significantly impact the candidate's success.
The compensation package includes a starting salary that eventually transitions to a full-commission pay structure, a myriad of bonuses, medical and dental benefits, training, expense allowance, vacation, and 401k program with profit sharing.
To be considered for this position, the candidate must reside in the Fort Wayne area to eliminate unnecessary driving time.
